Most heated scarves stop at the scarf. You still have to find a power bank that fits, charge it and hope the cable reaches. This one comes complete. The power bank is in the box and lives in its own pocket, so there is no cord running anywhere and nothing extra to buy.

The outside is soft black velvet that looks like a plain winter wrap. Inside, a carbon-fiber heating panel spans the back of the neck. One button steps through three settings: low for a long day out, medium for the walk, high for the coldest mornings.

Remove the power bank before cleaning. Hand wash gently in cool water, or spot clean the velvet with a damp cloth. Do not wring. Let it dry fully before switching it on. Do not tumble dry or iron.

How to use

1. Before the first use, charge the 5000mAh power bank fully with the cable in the box.
2. Put the power bank in its pocket and plug it into the scarf.
3. Wrap the scarf on so the heated panel sits across the back of your neck.
4. Press the button to switch on, then press to step through low (about 95°F), medium (113°F) and high (131°F).
5. Switch it off and unplug the power bank when you take it off.

Safety

• Not for use while sleeping, or by children, or by anyone who cannot feel heat well or cannot take it off without help.
• Start on low. If it ever feels too hot, turn it down or switch it off, and check your skin now and then during long use.
• Do not use it wet, damaged or with a torn cover, and keep it away from water.
• Talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant, have diabetes, poor circulation, reduced feeling in the skin, or an implanted medical device.
• Charge the power bank outside the pocket, never while you are wearing the scarf.
• Do not fold, crush or sit on the heated panel while it is on.

• Low-voltage heat. Runs on a 5V USB power bank, about the same power as charging a phone.
• You set the warmth. Three settings on one button, off in a press.
• Washable. Take out the power bank, then hand wash gently in cool water. Do not wring; let it dry fully before switching on.
• Cord-free. The power bank rides in its own pocket, so there is nothing plugged into a wall.

To return it for a refund, it needs to be unused outside, unwashed and complete, with its battery or power bank, cable and pouch. Switching it on at home to test the heat is fine. Email hello@wintermae.com with your order number and we'll send the return address. Return shipping is paid by you, and a $15 restocking fee is taken from the refund on heated items. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Need a different size or color? Same 7 days. Return shipping is paid by you, there is no restocking fee on an exchange, and we send the replacement once yours is on its way back.

Arrived damaged, faulty or the wrong item? Email a photo within 7 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you in full. No return shipping and no restocking fee. See the full returns policy.
