A thick, plush faux-fur neck scarf that pulls through and sits snug, with a heating panel along the back of the neck. Hold the button for three seconds and the warmth comes on, right where the cold gets in. It runs on any USB power bank, tucked away in a zipped pocket inside.

Most winter scarves keep the cold out. This one puts warmth in. Under the faux fur, a 10 inch heating panel runs along the back of the neck. Press and hold the button for three seconds to switch it on, then press to step through three settings: blue for low, white for medium, red for high. One end pulls through the slot in the other, so it stays put without a knot and tucks neatly under a coat collar.

One size. 32.7 x 3.9 in (83 x 10 cm), about 0.8 in thick, 3.6 oz (102 g). Heated panel 10.2 in (26 cm) at the back of the neck. Three settings: about 86°F (low, blue light), 104°F (medium, white light) and 122°F (high, red light). 5V USB, 5W, on a 7.9 in (20 cm) cable. The zipped pocket is about 5.1 x 3.1 in (13 x 8 cm) and fits a power bank up to 2.56 x 3.82 x 0.47 in. Power bank not included. Outer: soft synthetic faux fur.

Take the power bank out first. Hand wash, or machine wash on a gentle cycle, then hang to dry and let it dry completely before you switch it on again. Do not dry clean, iron or tumble dry.

How to use

1. Slip a charged 5V USB power bank into the zipped pocket and plug in the cable. Power bank not included.
2. Put the scarf on and pull one end through the slot so it sits snug.
3. Press and hold the button for three seconds to switch on. Press again to step through low (blue light), medium (white) and high (red).
4. Hold the button for three seconds to switch off, then unplug the power bank when you take the scarf off.

Safety

• Not for use while sleeping, or by children, or by anyone who cannot feel heat well or cannot take it off without help.
• Start on low. If it ever feels too hot, turn it down or switch it off, and check your skin now and then during long use.
• Do not use it wet, damaged or with a torn cover, and keep it away from water.
• Talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant, have diabetes, poor circulation, reduced feeling in the skin, or an implanted medical device.
• Use a 5V USB power bank only, and charge it outside the pocket, never while you are wearing the scarf.
• Do not fold, crush or sit on the heated panel while it is on.

• Low-voltage heat. Runs on 5V USB at 5W, about the same power as a phone charger.
• Gentle warmth. Three settings from about 86°F to 122°F, with a light that shows which one is on.
• Washable. Take out the power bank, then hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry, no tumble dryer.
• Nothing to plug into a wall. It runs only from a USB power bank in its own zipped pocket.

To return it for a refund, it needs to be unused outside, unwashed and complete, with its battery or power bank, cable and pouch. Switching it on at home to test the heat is fine. Email hello@wintermae.com with your order number and we'll send the return address. Return shipping is paid by you, and a $15 restocking fee is taken from the refund on heated items. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Need a different size or color? Same 7 days. Return shipping is paid by you, there is no restocking fee on an exchange, and we send the replacement once yours is on its way back.
