A mid-length hooded parka with a big faux fur hood and a plush faux fur lining from the collar to the hem. A tie at the waist keeps it shaped, so you look put together while everyone else looks like a sleeping bag.
Some coats are warm. Some coats look good. This one does both, and it does it without the bulk.
The outside is a smooth, padded shell. The inside is lined in soft faux fur, so the first thing you feel when you zip it up is warmth, not cold nylon. The hood carries a full faux fur trim that frames your face and blocks the wind at your cheeks. Tie the waist and it holds its shape; leave it loose for a relaxed fit over a thick sweater.
On milder days, take out the faux fur lining and the hood trim and it becomes a light trench for fall and early spring.
It covers you to just above the knee, which is where the cold gets in on a long wait at the bus stop, the school gate or the parking lot.

Details: front zip, hood, waist tie, front pockets. The faux fur lining and hood trim are removable. Length about 31 to 39 in, depending on size.
Care: take out the faux fur lining and hood trim first. Hand wash cold or dry clean. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry and shake out the faux fur once dry.

It is a padded, fully faux fur lined winter parka, made for cold, dry days. It is not rated waterproof, so add an umbrella for heavy rain or wet snow.
