Description
It is 7 a.m., it is 28 degrees, and the outfit you want needs bare-looking legs. The Wintermae Legging is how you have both. From a few feet away they read as classic tights; underneath, brushed fleece keeps you warm to the ankle. Wear them with skirts, dresses and boots from the first frost to the last.
- Light for fall and heated offices; Everyday for most winter days; Deep winter for anything below freezing.
- Black for the classic tights look; coffee and grey for a softer, warmer tone.
- Footed covers the foot like tights. Stirrup is open underfoot with a strap, for wearing with socks and boots.
- High waist that stays put. No roll, no pilling, no sagging knees by lunchtime.
- Flat seams, sealed fleece at the hem, breathable enough for a warm shop or a train.
Care: machine wash cold, inside out, gentle cycle. Hang dry.
Fit
Regular fits US 2 to 10 (UK 6 to 14); Plus size fits US 12 to 18 (UK 16 to 22). Both stretch to fit heights 5'1" to 5'9". If you are between the two, choose plus in the Deep winter weight and regular in the lighter weights. Measurements are in the size guide. Wrong fit is a free exchange.

FAQ
Do they really look sheer?
Yes. A flesh-tone fleece sits under a fine black mesh, so they read as sheer tights at normal distance and like good opaque tights up close. Coffee and grey read as soft, solid tights.
Which warmth should I choose?
Light for 45 to 60°F (7 to 15°C). Everyday for 25 to 50°F (minus 4 to 10°C) and indoor-heavy days. Deep winter for anything colder, or if you run cold. If in doubt, Deep winter.
Footed or stirrup?
Footed if you wear them like tights with flats or boots. Stirrup if you want your own socks on your feet inside boots, or your toes free at home.
Can I wear them with a short skirt?
Yes. The fleece is sealed inside so nothing shows at the hem.
Do they pill or sag?
No. Brushed fleece inside, tight knit outside. Wash inside out and they stay smooth.
